About Me
I have over 25 years of horse owning experience, saving up to buy my first pony Prince (who is enjoying life with me at 31 years of age!) when I was 10 years old. Whilst at University, I studied for my BHS stages, gaining stage III HK & C.
I then went and studied for a B.Sc (Hons) in Equine Science with my final dissertation focussing on feeding and nutrition in older horses. After working in Newmarket monitoring the physiological changes of racehorses during their training I then moved back to Surrey where I began working in IT (yawn). During my 30s I decided I'd had enough of the rat race and wanted to return to working with horses.
I keep my two horses in a private yard and always have a difficult time finding trustworthy people to cover if I want to go away or just can't make it to the yard one afternoon. With this in mind, I came up with the idea of offering a horse sitter business which offers peace of mind to all those horse owners who need extra help either on a daily basis or occasional holiday cover.
